#dolphin #pose for #bendyyogis day 9 @fitqueenirene @cheryld126 #pincha #mayurasana #feathered #peacock - dolphin pose is a great prep to get into forearm balances. Here’s a little routine to try to build the core and shoulder strength to hold pincha mayurasana. 1) start of in dolphin pose with your core engaged, and heals rooting towards the floor. Roll over your feet and lower down into dolphin chaturanga or low pushup. You want to roll your shoulders down your back as your reach your chin towards the floor in front of your hands. Keep your core engaged pulling in and up and tailbone tucked under. use your core and shoulders to roll yourself back up into dolphin down dog. Repeat repeat repeat! 2) adter doing the first routine a few times, walk your dolphin dog in as much as you can. Keep your core engaged and pulling in and up, try to get your hips over your shoulders. Keep lifting through your core as you press down through your arms trying to slowly and with control to lift your legs a few inches off the ground. 3) now that your core and shoulders are warmed up, go back into the first position walk one leg on and lift it up. Keep stretching as you lift the second to meet it as you lift up into pincha mayurasana! - @brianmilleryoga- #webstagram

So I’ve seen (and taken part) in lots of posts that say ‘reblog this if you don’t like one or more things about your body’ I decided to make my own experiment.

Reblog this if you LIKE one or more things about your body, let’s see more body positive posts on tumblr!
